John is a native of Montgomery and a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Architecture Degree. John joined the firm in 1995, just prior to the successful completion of his registration exams, and became a partner in 2002. John's attention to history, proportion and detail affords him the opportunity to design a vast assortment of residences each fitting the personality of the client and the nature of the home's location. John's attentions outside the office are driven by charitable and community concerns, including Young Life ministries and involvement in his church. John is the lone male in a household he shares with his wife Caroline and their daughters, Martha Glen and Sadie, both of whom have inherited both parents' good humor, outgoingness and charm.
